The same applies here: heat has a positive effect on technical clothing. At a low temperature (without steam) and with a towel between the garment and the iron, the water-repellent finish on the outer fabric can even be reactivated by the heat. Fleece jackets should not be ironed. It is better to shake the jacket out briefly after a delicate wash and hang it up to dry.
