To ensure the longevity of cut-resistant trousers, regular and proper cleaning is essential! Heavy soiling should be removed immediately after wearing; otherwise, cut-resistant trousers can be machine-washed at 40°C using a colour-safe detergent. Important: Do not spin-dry or tumble-dry! If spun too vigorously, the fibres can become tangled, forming ‘lumps’, and the cut protection is no longer guaranteed. To preserve the safety features, pull the cut-resistant trousers into shape whilst still wet after washing and leave them to air-dry – do not iron!
