Only the outer fabric may be professionally repaired; the cut-resistant insert itself must not be sewn, shortened, mended or altered in any other way. If the cut-resistant insert is damaged, the trousers must be replaced, as their protective function can no longer be guaranteed.
We also strongly advise against repairs to the outer fabric in the areas where the cut-resistant lining is sewn in, and in such cases we recommend replacing the trousers.
When in doubt, the rule is: Safety first!
Your cut-resistant trousers are your personal accident insurance.
