Any products with a functional membrane should not be embroidered. The embroidery can damage the membrane, rendering it no longer functional. Embroidery is a very elegant form of branding, yet highly durable and robust. Our polyester threads withstand frequent washing, heavy wear and constant use, which is why heavily used textiles such as chef’s jackets are often embroidered. For functional jackets and all membrane textiles, we recommend transfer printing as the finishing technique. The durable foil printing offers a wide range of colours, sizes and shapes – and the important membrane is not damaged during application.
